Sustainability and engagement

We want to create joy and togetherness through fantastic and safe live experiences, at the same time as we contribute to people’s well-being and a more sustainable future for coming generations.

Our focus areas

We want to take responsibility for the society in which we act, and for the impact we create together with the footprint we leave after us as a result from our business and actions. We support the 17 global goals of the UN, and always start from four focus areas to judge where we can make the biggest difference.

We bring people together

Our vision is to create secure, safe and accessible events for all. We work for an arena environment without prejudice characterized by respect and friendliness, where any co-worker and visitors is welcome. This means, among other things, that we work to prevent all types of bullying, infringement, harassment, threats and violence.

Furthermore, we want to contribute to the well-being of people through live experiences that bring us together and create joy and belonging.

We work for better health

We put great focus on health and well-being both at our work place and in society at large. To us, good health means a holistic approach including physical, psychological and social health.

We build a sustainable organization where co-workers have the right to a safe and sound working environment. Our working place should be characterized by equality, diversity, engagement and respect, as well as offering an enjoyable working culture to our co-workers.

We use our platform to recognize, spread knowledge and educate about mental health.

We contribute to a sustainable future

We contribute to sustainable development by taking our social responsibility for coming generations. Our focus is on children and youth where we support their education and possibilities for work.

Through our activities we can, to a large part, put youth into work. We contribute with knowledge and learning through mentorship, lectures and internship. Today, we have committed co-operations with Travel Education Center as well as Frans Schartau and we are constantly developing our collaborations with schools.

We are reducing our ecological footprint

We safeguard the environment for present and coming generations by taking responsibility for the environmental impact caused by our activities. We always strive to make the most environment-friendly choices day to day, and work continually to decrease any negative effects our actions may have on the environment.

The environmental issues are an integrated part of our business, where prevailing environmental laws always define our lowest level of engagement. We also strive to extend these environmental demands to our partners and suppliers.

Friends

We are proud partners to the children’s rights organisation Friends. With support from Swedbank, Friends Arena is named after the foundation with the purpose of turning the arena into a physical manifestation against bullying and a symbol for the obvious: that no child should ever be subject to bullying or discrimination.

My Special Day

Since many years, we are supporting the My Special Day Foundation working to fulfil wishes and create joyful experiences, so called Special Days, for children with severe diseases and diagnoses. Every year, more than 200 children get the opportunity to experience special events from their own box in Avicii Arena.
